Disc Golf Description

What exactly is Disc Golf? According to Google, Disc Golf is a game in which a concave plastic disc is thrown into each of a series of metal baskets situated on an outdoor course, the object being to complete the course using the fewest possible throws.

​When's the last time you greeted a stranger out in public? Did you pull out your phone or stare across to the other side of the street? Maybe you even looked down at your shoes or up at the sky but you never exactly made eye contact or smiled at that person. Don't worry, they did not either.

Our goal with the Community Builder Project is to change that, we want strangers to interact with a common activity that is easy, fun and simple. Disc Golf helps in every aspect of that. 

With Disc Golf, the park's reputation for "drug use" and "vandalization" will be limited because of the family-friendly interactions with the baskets scattered across the park.
